Preschool Activities – Ages 3-5
Sports: Fridley Recreation sports programs are designed for kids who want to learn basic skills while being active and having fun! Instructors focus on teaching age appropriate fundamentals while encouraging teamwork.

- Zumba: Enjoy the party as we shake to the rhythms of Latin-infused music/dance with our instructor Lenka Seferovic!
- Aqua Zumba: Aqua ZUMBA gives new meaning to to the idea of a refreshing workout. Integrating the ZUMBA philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness, every class is a party!
- Adult Co-Rec Sand Volleyball Leagues: Join your friends for this new Indoor Volleyball League in partnership with Spring Lake Park and New Brighton recreation departments. Each team is guaranteed at least 10 games, and play will take place at parks in Spring Lake Park.

- Adult Softball League: USSSA sanctioned league that takes place at Community Park. All leagues play double-headers and run 12 weeks (including play-offs).

- Bag Toss League: 7 weeks of summer play with teams of two players of any gender combo! Thursdays at Community Park.
- Open Pickleball (May-Oct.): Register to be added to our summer pickleball list and we'll let you know who's looking to play!
- Pickleball Classes: Get ready to take your pickleball skills to the next level! Players will be able to improve their play style and technique by focusing on a different area of the game each week. Equipment is available if needed.
- Pickleball Ladder League: Self officiated. Players will be placed in doubles games with players of similar levels, with ranking based on winning percentage. Players move up/down the ladder based on their winning percentage.
- 55+ Golf League:

Fridley Forward 50K: Be active this spring with our virtual 50K! Get your distance in however you prefer--walking, running, swimming, biking, hiking, etc. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Open to all ages and abilities.
Fridley Youth Sports Association (FYSA)
Fridley Youth Sports Association (FYSA) promotes youth sports in Fridley, providing opportunities for all youth to participate in competitive and recreational team sports. FYSA is a non-profit organization relying solely on parent volunteers. Current sports offered through FYSA include Baseball, Basketball, Football, Softball and Soccer.
Upcoming registration dates for Spring and Summer Sports:
Baseball (ages 4 – 15): Dec 1 – Mar 15
Soccer (ages 4 – 12): Mar 1 – Apr 11
Softball (ages 10 – 18): Mar 7 – May 20
Football (gr. 2-7): Jun 1 - Sep 9

The City of Fridley supports the FYSA by providing field space and maintenance but does not coordinate the leagues or handle registration.
Spring Lake Park Lacrosse Association (SLPYLA)
SLPYLA provides lacrosse opportunities for youth in Spring Lake Park and surrounding communities. Registration, season information and more can be found on their website. Please visit https://www.springlakeparklacrosse.org/ for more information.
